My love of honey bees began with a home school project over 25 years ago as a young boy, working with my mom and a family friend and apiculturist. 

I was fascinated by how these tiny insects work tirelessly to produce a surplus of honey, wax, and propolis beyond their own needs.

Over the years, I have taught various classes on how to sustainably and responsibly manage these endangered creatures, and today I am passing on this passion to my children, who love to join me when I check on the bees. My wife enjoys crafting these elegant candles.
